{method}ology otherwise bonfire

What is the value of research in addressing current injustices, marginalization, and inequality on the ground? How can we, as researchers, manage our relationship with communities? What does fieldwork mean to us? When does it start and where does it end? How can we deal with the challenges, uncertainties, and contradictions that emerge during fieldwork? What do we make of the discomfort, vulnerability, and rejection that we may experience as researchers?

Join us for this virtual bonfire conversation where we aim to reflect on our research and fieldwork experiences and think on the above questions.

This is an open format event, participants are invited to join and share to the extent they are comfortable with.

This bonfire is part of our {Method}ology Otherwise research group
