I am an aspiring researcher, curator, and cultural worker from Riga, Latvia, the co-founder of the philosophy magazine “Tverums” with a BA in philosophy from the University of Latvia and an MA in ancient philosophy from MUSAPH (Munich School of Ancient Philosophy). My research focuses on history, however, I believe there is a lot to learn from collective past mistakes and fortunes and a lot of historical injustice that needs attention. Additionally, I publish critiques on visual and textual art, essays, and sociocritical articles and curate educational and discussion programs to foster mutual understanding, critical thinking, and care. I am particularly interested in post-soviet trauma and building transnational networks based on similarities of individual experiences. I am extremely fond of languages and believe that there are experiences that can only be sung.
