Ana Pandal de la Peza is a PhD candidate in International Relations at the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations at Central European University, Vienna. Her interests lie at the intersection of the coloniality of knowledge production, relational ontologies, and feminist IR, with a focus on arts-based methodologies. She is currently studying La Busqueda of the women looking for the disappeared people in Mexico as a cosmopraxis that provides key relational sensibilities for world-traveling. She holds an MA in Gender, Violence, and Conflict from the University of Sussex.
In 2016 she co-funded Org Genera A.C., an NGO in Mexico that works to dismantle gender-based violence through facilitating spaces to contest women’s isolation and strengthen support networks. She has also worked in the International Affairs department of the National Women’s Institute in Mexico. At CEU she co-convenes the Global Politics and Practice Research Group.
